Location
In the province of Chubut, Patagonia Argentina, the Andes Mountains offer a unique and exclusive fly-fishing experience. It is located 125 miles south of the city of Esquel, and 15 miles from Chile.
The Lodge
The Lodge is a magnificent facility that combines style, elegance, comfort and solitude with a wonderful view of the 3 Valles Lake. The stress and worries of everyday life will fade away as you relax and enjoy the different services designed especially for you. These are developed in careful harmony with our wildlife and allow our guests to enjoy the perfect balance of natural surroundings. Cuisine
Our cuisine has been created especially by our chef, who proposes delightful dishes with unlimited combinations of textures and native Argentinean flavors. Our gastronomic offerings include the traditional and delicious “Corderito Patagónico” and “Asado Argentino” accompanied by an exquisite selection of wines.
FISHING AND NON FISHING The Río Pico region offers excellent fly-fishing on numerous, crystalline rivers, streams and lakes. These waters receive virtually no angling pressure throughout the year. A wide variety of fishing options are available for guests of all levels from wade fishing and float trips to lake fishing from boats and from shore. The experienced angler will find challenging rivers and spring creeks, while the novice will enjoy the small ponds chock full of trout before tackling one of the nearby streams.
Río Nilson and Río Pico are ideal for light equipment using dry flies and nymphs. The larger Río Corcovado holds a healthy population of Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout. And even the occasional Pacific Salmon, which can exceed 40 pounds. Lakes Uno, Dos, Tres and Cuatro are ideal for float tube fishing, while larger lakes such as Vintter, may be fished from one of the lodge’s well equipped boats. It is common to catch trout up to 3kg. and occasionally even more. It is also not unusual to catch more than 30 trout in a day.
For the non-fishing guest, 3 Valles offers numerous activities to ensure a wonderful stay:

Climate
The summer climate of this region of South America is changeable, and a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions should be expected. Layered clothing is highly recommended. The sun can be very strong during the day even when overcast.
