2021 season was not the best year for Fish and Travel around the world. This year we could not operate Austral King’s camp due to the unfavorable travel restrictions given in Chile. That didn’t stop the salmon to run in BIG numbers this year, luckily we could see lots of them !!
2022 season openings
It’s likely that Chile will open its borders soon and we would love to invite you to join us in 2022 and experience this one-of-a-kind destination with us!!.

Sample Itinerary
-March 8th – Arrive in Santiago de Chile and catch a connecting flight to Puerto Montt. Overnight in Puerto Montt.
-March 9th – Transfer to the lodge via ground and water.
-March 10th-15th – 6 days guided fishing at Austral Kings!
-March 16th – Depart camp
Lodging
This wilderness camp is Chilean “glamping” at its finest. Guests will stay in two spacious double occupancy luxury canvas tents equipped with comfortable Twin XL beds, chairs, and equipment storage.
Included
Accommodations and meals, transfers to/from Puerto Montt, wine, beer, and spirits, guided fishing, and fishing license.
Not Included
International and domestic airfare, food/hotels in Puerto Montt, fishing equipment, staff, and guide gratuities.
Visa Requirements
Chilean tourist Visas are generally quite easy to obtain. Citizens of the US, Canada, Australia, and the EU do not need a visa to visit Chile. If you have questions about visa requirements, please contact us!
