O V E R A L L   C O N D I T I O N S: After the big floods that we had the past week the water got lower, clear and fishable again. No rain during the whole week. Good overall weather during the week.

The air temperature rounded from 5 to 15 degrees Celsius.

We used the helicopter to go to the higher beats due they were unreachable by land. We also fished the Leticia River without success.

R I V E R   C O N D I T I O N S:  The water level was over the normal at the beginning of the week. The water dropped continuously thought out the week

F I S H I N G : In terms of catches was the best week so far. We had lot of action almost every session. The first three days we only caught fish less than 12 pounds and most of them between 4 to 8 pounds. The second half of the week was superb; a good number of large fish was landed.

The lines we used ranged from Floating lines to slow sink-tips. Small rubber legs nymphs such as wonder bugs and large flies such as string leeches (at dusk) were used.

The fish caught ranged from 4 to 22 pounds. We lost some very large fish.

T O T A L  C A T C H E S : Three rods fishing six days caught 45 sea trout averaging 7,5 pounds and the biggest of the week was a 22 pounder. Over 30 fish under 4 pounds caught as well.

E X T R A S: We also did some Robalo fishing. More than 30 sea-trout under 4 pounds were caught as well.
