Kooi Noom Fishing Report

Nov 18 – Dec 10  2013

Dear Anglers and Agents

Kooi Noom team wants to say thank you to all anglers who came to experience our very first season opening and enjoyed the newest Trophy Rainbow fishing in Argentina. Thanks for trust in our company and team. We are glad to say that fishing has been completely outstanding in our first three weeks of season.

Overall Conditions.

We had non-stop fishing during the period, and as we expected water was just a bit colored the first days of season, due to a few snow precipitations and warm days after while. The upper section of Tavia spring creek and Capitan river stayed clean all the time, we also had the chance to fish the lake several times and it was wonderful. We keep on exploring some new areas for fishing in Quiroga Lake.

Weather conditions.

Temperatures, winds and precipitations are very variable at this time of the season. We had days that temperature didn´t rose above 0 º Celcius and days that the temperature was around 20 º Celcius. Neither of these extreme episodes affected the fishing.

Water Conditions.

The river got just a bit colored a couple of times due snow and high temperatures but didn’t affect fishing at all.

Fishing.

The fishing has been just great! We had the chance to fish all the areas intensively and the number had been consistent. Most of the fishing had been with streamers and nymphs due the low temperatures but we are starting to get fish on dries in certain areas. We have caught fish from all sizes, we mean, trout of 12 inches to 30 inches, being the biggest fish so far over 20 pounds! Please check out some pics!

Thanks to all the anglers and keep posted in our next fishing reports. The predictions is just the best and looking forward to a fantastic season.
